Reed’s, Inc. Announces Partnership With DP Distribution

LOS ANGELES, CA–(Marketwire – June 4, 2009) – Reed’s, Inc. (NASDAQ: REED), maker of the top-selling sodas in natural food stores nationwide announced today that it has formed a partnership with DP Distribution, one of the largest independently owned consumer products distributors in the US.

Based in Miami, FL, DP Distribution has 22 branches strategically located throughout the US and Puerto Rico. Their vast reach allows them to service much of the US as well as Central and South America, the Islands and Caribbean.

“This is a major step for Reed’s, something we have been working to accomplish for quite some time. This relationship will prove immensely valuable as we continue our move into mainstream,” commented Eddie Pearson VP of Sales for South Region. “DP has the reach and expertise to get Reed’s and Virgil’s products positioned in many different types of accounts, and they work with some of the top brands in the world, including Dole, Campbell’s, Dr. Pepper/Snapple, Sunny Delight and others. We are in great hands with the DP team and we couldn’t be more pleased.”

Adam Wieder, VP of purchasing for DP Distribution, stated, “We are extremely excited about bringing on this new line of beverages into our portfolio of brands. Reed’s & Virgil’s fill a unique void in our product line. The growth of ‘all natural/premium’ brands into mainstream channels of business is what attracted us to this proposition, and Reed’s & Virgil’s will prove to be a very successful addition to sell to our retail partners.”
